A very big congratulations to some of our CATA Gala Award Winners in May of this year. Highlights of the public safety and security related winners were awarded for their part in their contributions to the world of technical innovations in the area of first responder technologies.

Steve Palmer, Executive Director, Canadian Police Research Centre won the Open Text Award for Public Sector Leadership in Advanced Technology MIR3 products are relied upon by the US Department of Agriculture, the US Department of Defense, USAID, the US Army, the US Air Force, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and many other federal, state and local governmental agencies.

Other sponsored categories were: Motorola Award for Public Safety Technology, Celestica Award for Technology Commercialization and the Wellington West Award for Outstanding Product Achievement (ICT/Health/Clean Tech)
